There is an old American saying about leading a horse to drink water, but the horse won’t drink. The horse needs to drink, the water is there and nothing is preventing it from drinking. (which it needs to do to live.) But, it won’t.

Raginhits: unethical business practices unpopular

The new owner of Raginhits made an interesting, unethical and highly unpopular move recently by deleting all member credits and then reassigning everyone with around 1000. This is a well established exchange and many members had in excess of million credits, having built them up from surfing and referring and winning contests.

According to Dave, principle owner of PT-Scripts
http://www.pt-scripts.com, the provider of the exchange software, complaints to PT-Script has been overwhelming. PT-Scripts has blocked the program from obtaining anymore upgrades for the script and urges existing members to vote with their feet.

If you are looking for something to offer your members and enrollees, you can actually obtain your own blaster free. The program owners do stipulate you must give a certain amount of these away weekly to retain your blaster. The upside is you can enter two html ads, a banner and an exit page onto your blaster page. This makes these attractive venues for you to own and promote.

MIA and not paying

Still MIA and still not paying the members and not responding to email inquires, http://www.cashitz.net/ and http://www.surfwize.com/ remain down due to server issues according to the owners Paul and Penny Westhead. While the sites state that they will be back up in a couple days, couple days have come and gone several times now and still no sites.

And, although stating that payouts continue, it appears from various posts on the Net that the couple have actually not been paying all the members from as early as January 2005. The couple owes thousands of dollars to their members.

Any time you fall victim of a scam or are defrauded you should always file complaints and reports. A quick search on internet fraud, scam or fraud will produce many sites and organizations dedicated to fighting crime on the internet.

Keep your reports factual and provide copies of your proof of fraud whenever requested. DO NOT FILE FALSE scam reports just because you are unhappy with a program owner. The penalties for doing so can be quite severe.

If you were in fact ripped-off, defrauded or a victim of a scam, definitely file complaints and reports. Everyone needs to do their part in stopping the scammers and keeping programs on and off the Net legitimate and honest.
