To surf or not to surf

Marketing with traffic exchanges makes good sense for several reasons. 1. As your sites rotate on the surf they create hits which translate into activity for the Search Engines and 2. Members view your site. When you join a traffic x, whether as a free or paid member, it is very important to then surf.

Surfing is the life blood of any traffic exchange. It is very tempting to join a site, put all your credits up on your link and then run. This does no one any long lasting good, including you. You need to surf a little bit: daily is the best, weekly is still good, at least once a month.

No one expects you to marathon surf. We have contests for those competitive souls who enjoy the challenge. However, surfing 25 sites a day, 100 sites every couple days and etc does remarkable things!

For one, your surf rotates other members' sites. This creates hits which help boost traffic rankings. And, while YOU are surfing, other responsible memers are surfing as well...creating hits for YOUR sites. Plus, the are seeing them as they surf. Marketing studies all prove the average person needs to see an ad at least 7 times or so to respond. Having your site shown on a traffic exchange helps you in this regard.

You are an important part of an exchange and vital to the overall health. When you do your part to surf, everyone - including you - benefits greatly. In fact, when the entire membership is surfing, you benefit even more! Get a thousand or more members all surfing each day...whoa nelly and bar the door!

So, to surf or not to surf? That is a question only you can answer. Keep in mind that when you surf wonderful things happen. When you don't, a terrible thing happens. Nothing.
